So why not using an old Leopard I engine, with a more serious boost pressure and a more tolerant and forgivable lambda value, behind the cab? The Russians made or make something comparable off the shelf, the Kamaz 4911, which is good for jumps and 160 km/h! Did they need to alter the drive train (differencials, torque converter, gears)?
